I have more than 25 years experience in advertising and marketing on both agency and client-side.
It's this time-served knowledge which I feel gives me the edge over a lot of post-apple mac creatives.
Before the macs, you simply had think more, you couldn't just jump onto google, pick a stock image and think, that will do. You had to scribble on a pad and think a job through, sometimes until your bin was overflowing with ideas/mistakes which didn't make the cut. The end result would be a well thought-out set of concepts, with a happy client feeling spoilt for choice. 
Don't get me wrong, the apple mac is a fantastic invention, but it is essentially only a tool, in the same way as pens and markers were the tools of the art director's trade for decades. The ideas don't start there though, they should always be created by the greatest computer - the creative mind.
I embrace technology and work to provide the best creative solution for clients across whichever channel(s) is needed. I love what I do, and hope it shows in my work.
